How To Display Posts By “Others” On Your Facebook Page

For me Facebook’s change to the new Timeline interface has huge advantages for businesses that want to use Facebook to communicate with their audience. I also administer some Facebook Pages for organisations that rely heavily on posts by their members for content.
By default Facebook puts all updates by others into a small box and only displays the first few words. But last week I learned how to move these important posts into the default “Highlighted” area of your Facebook Page!
You can see how it works in this 2 minute video:
Yay! Now I don’t have to change my earlier blog post about how important it is to “Open Your Facebook Wall”
Are you frustrated about Facebook Timeline? What would you like to learn? Let me know in the comments!

Hi there,
That’s a great tip but I am still having a problem. People and businesses are tagging our business page in their posts but they are not showing up anywhere on our page (not even under Recent Posts By Others. Any clues??

Hi Steve!
The fact that Facebook tags are not always showing up is a very annoying glitch. If they never show up you might have to check if tagging is enabled.
Edit Page > Edit Settings > Tagging Ability
Please let me know if it works – my Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/Tweet4Ok
